spots leftAerial Hammock consists of aerial silks fabric rigged to create a sling in which the aerialist can spin and wrap the fabric to create different poses, transitions, and drops.
This is a mixed level class that welcomes beginner and intermediate students.
As a beginner, you will receive a basic introduction to aerial hammock by learning foundational skills, mounts, wraps, spins, supported positions and simple transitions while building strength, spatial awareness, coordination, and flexibility with an emphasis on proper alignment and engagement. As you progress to intermediate, we explore more complex wraps, learn more complex
transitions, and begin to develop your own variations and sequences.
This class is open to students aged 7+. No previous experience is required, and all levels of fitness are welcome.
